Nanoparticles of ZrPO4 for green catalytic applications.
Here we report the successful room temperature synthesis of zirconium phosphate nanoparticles (ZPNP) using the P123 tri-co-block polymer for the first time. The samples were characterized by SEM, TEM, XRD, TPD, and BET and were employed for fixation of CO2 on aniline to produce pharmaceutically important acetanilide under mild reaction conditions (150 °C and 150 Psi CO2 pressure).
متن کاملSelfassembly of metallic nanoparticle arrays by DNA scaffolding
We report the self-assembly of metallic nanoparticle arrays using DNA crystals as a programmable molecular scaffolding. Gold nanoparticles, 1.4 nm in diameter, are assembled in two-dimensional arrays with interparticle spacings of 4 and 64 nm. The nanoparticles form precisely integrated components, which are covalently bonded to the DNA scaffolding. These results show that heterologous chemical...
متن کاملApplications of gold nanoparticles for medical imaging
Background & Aim: Molecular imaging enables us to non-invasively visualize tissue microstructures and lesion characterization, allowing accurate diagnosis of diseases at early stages. A successful molecular imaging requires a nontoxic contrast agent with high sensitivity. Nowadays, a wide range of nanoparticles have been developed as contrast agents for medical imaging modalities. Here, we revi...

متن کاملdevelopment of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles
a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
